Template:Infobox/Abilities Vorpal Strike is an Incarnate System ability that is used by Black Lotus.
Using her blade (arm), she is able to unleash a stream of energy capable of reaching several tens of meters. It is an extremely powerful move which is able to go on par with Black Vise's Layered Armor ability where it was able to go through all but the last panel.
She learned this ability from her sword teacher, Graphite Edge. He was the original user of this technique.[1]
Trivia
- The ability takes its name from "vorpal sword", a term that appears in Lewis Caroll's Through the Looking-Glass (1871).
- There's also a Vorpal Strike skill in the other aanime by same author, Sword Art Online.
- Vorpal Strike is one of the three sword skills in Accel World which is seen in Sword Art Online. The other skills being Starburst Stream and The Eclipse.
