Rust Jigsaw (ラスト・ジグソー, Rasuto Jigusō) is a mysterious Burst Linker who is a member of the Acceleration Research Society.
Personality[]
His personality is slowly revealed during the Hermes Cord Race event. He shows much hatred towards the world, having little care for what others see of Brain Burst as some fighting game. He doesn't care what happens to the unfortunate, he'll rust away everything around him without a care in the world.
Appearance[]
He appears as a thin, young man with brown hair. Wears blue pants, a dark & gray coat, & black baseball hat.
Plot Outline[]
Flight Towards the Blue Sky Arc[]
Rust Jigsaw appeared when Silver Crow and Blood Leopard signed up for a tag match. Rust attempted to quickly dispatch the two with the use of his various saws, but thanks to Blood Leopard, he was defeated. Due to Blood Leopards final attack on his avatar, he had a lingering pain in his right shoulder/neck region. Haru tried to follow Rust in the real world, but was cut off. Much later, Rust's actions when trying to get out of the match cafe would help Haru figure out how Seiji Nōmi was keeping his name from the matching list.

Rust Jigsaw[]
Rust Jigsaw is a Duel Avatar who looks like he is made out of rusted metal plates. His special moves center around the use of thin saw blades to control the battlefield and attack from range. His incarnation techniques, however, are focused on causing corrosion to their targets.
Abilities[]
- Steel Saw – This Special Move sets up thin bladed wires suspended above ground. This appears nearly invisible to those who are not looking out for them, and could cause them to lose a limb. This move is mainly used to hinder opponents by confining them to or keeping them out of an area.
- Wheel Saw – A special move that allows Rust Jigsaw to throw a high-speed ring with serrations on the outside. This move is quite dangerous, and is almost guaranteed to cut through a Duel Avatar.[1]
Incarnation[]
- Rust Order – This incarnate skill creates a large area in which everything is corroded.
- Rust Touch – This incarnate skill allows Rust Jigsaw to fire an aura out to corrode its target.
