Overview[]
Roar of the Sea at the Ends of the Earth (最果ての潮騒, Saihate no Shiosai) is a side story in the Accel World light novel series. It was originally released as the second story of Accel World light novel volume 10 "Elements", between rereleases of the The Sound of Water on a Distant Day and Versus stories. It was later adapted as episodes 18 and 19 of the anime series.

Kuroyukihime and Megumi during their school trip in Okinawa.
This side story takes place during Kuroyukihime's school trip to Okinawa, as Arita Haruyuki was having trouble with Noumi Seiji. She meets two local Burst Linkers and an old acquaintance, as well as a mysterious Burst Linker who does not show up on the matching list.
