The Brain Implant Chip (also known as the B.I.C (or written as BIC)) is an illegal chip implanted in the brain. It can be used in the same way as a Neuro Linker. A Brain Implant Chip was used by Seiji Noumi to keep his name off the Brain Burst matching list. When he wanted to stay off the matching list he connected to the internet on his B.I.C. When Noumi wanted to start a duel he used his Neuro Linker. The chip is also used by Black Vise and other members of the Acceleration Research Society. Should Brain Burst be uninstalled from the Burst Linker, their B.I.C. would dissolve into the cerebral spinal fluid and be as if it never existed.
In certain cases, a person can apply to the government for a permit to use a BIC, however permission is probably only granted on a case-by-case basis, as in the case of Utai Shinomiya.
