The Red Crest (赤の紋章, Aka no Monshō) is the twelfth volume of the Accel World light novel series by Reki Kawahara. It was released on August 10, 2012 in Japan. The title can also be translated as "The Red Emblem". This volume includes the previously released short story "Sky-Blue Wings".
Summary[]
A new hotshot Burst Linker appears, taking down Silver Crow. Haruyuki, still struggling to obtain the Theoretical Mirror ability, sees Wolfram Cerberus as a roadblock in his larger quest to become stronger and defeat the Archangel Metatron. He soon meets Chocolat Puppeteer, a duel avatar made out of...chocolate?! With her help, will Silver Crow finally grow into the fighter all seven Legions need to successfully carry out their mission against Metatron?
